I had super high hopes for this one. The Dahlia and Orchid shades were nonexistent. The other shades were meh. Some of them hard panned with one swipe. I'm giving it 3 because Alter Ego allowed me to return it at least.
If it is ever reformulated, I would give it another try.
I absolutely love this pallette. From soft looks to more intense. Formula is amazing too. The only thing is that orchid wasn't as pigmented as I hoped but that could just be me!
Oh no! I'm sad to have to report this palette is not alter egos best! Some of the shimmers are REALLY BAD. I tried swatching and some are sealing up on the surface and getting next to no pigment from them. Reminds me alot of m...phes eyeshadow palettes. Black dahlia and orchid(ESPECIALLY ORCHID) is the worst!
While I’m not mad because the price isn’t too high, I feel like this release of Canyon & Blooms doesn’t make my heart sing like previous palettes.
The traditional mattes quickly get “hard pan”, though easily remedied with a piece of tape is not something I want to do.
The color stories are beautiful but I’m missing the magnetic pans & the shimmers don’t seem to have as much twinkle as ones found in Goddess, Sahara or Aurora.
Please bring back the beautiful quality we know & love.
The color story of this palette is breathtakingly beautiful! Honestly, it looks even better in person than it does online. I regret is not buying it sooner because this would have been so gorgeous to wear out on Valentine's Day. I can't stop playing with this palette! The mattes are pigmented and easy to blend and the shimmers have a nice impact and leave my eyes sparkling - lookin' extra good in my mask ;)
I usually don't go for palettes with such bright colors (I'm more of a neutral palette gal myself like Temptress was my go-to for so long), but I was so pleasantly surprised by how the pinks and purples looked. You can do SO many looks with this palette: neutral, bold, flirty, playful, sultry. UGHH LOVE! My new fave!!! Until the next one...
