Many years ago I used the original UD eye primer that came in the “potion” bottle, and loved it. After it was reformulated I developed an allergy to it, and have been on the search since for a replacement. I have been searching in vain for a DECADE and now—finally—I have rediscovered my beloved OG primer formula!!! This stuff is AWESOME!!! I have wrinkly, hooded, dry eyelids that just keep looking worse every year and was about to give up on wearing shimmery eyeshadow but THIS PRIMER is so smoothing and lovely that I almost can’t believe it! I used it on one eye and then did a look with the Misthaven palette and I swear the shadows blended so effortlessly on the eye with primer AND the eyelid with no primer looked so much more wrinkly it was shocking lol. Next I tried it with a high-end palette that had lackluster performance and woohoo! With this eye primer that high-end palette performs the way I want it to! I saw Shelly from Geek Out Of Water on YouTube rave about Alter Ego, so I ordered the Misthaven palette (which is phenomenal) and threw in one of these eye primers because the price was so reasonable, why not? I’m SO glad I did because this stuff is Holy Grail status. So if you too miss the original OG stuff, grab this because there’s just nothing better out there!
